Don’t Be a Perfectionist
There are so many things I am excited about sharing on this platform, but for some reason I keep finding it difficult to prioritize the time to write. I think some of you may feel the same. That you have all of these great ideas, even plans on how to make them a reality, but for some reason you find it very difficult to make it happen.
I think so many times I want things to be perfect. I become hesitant to start. I realize that all I am doing is holding myself back by not just sitting down and letting my desire to create something that I care about overcome everything else.
A number of the instagram business influencers are always saying, “Take action”. I often think that their presentations come across so disingenuous that it becomes difficult to believe, but in that phrase, “Take action”, I think they have a point.
Too often, we get stuck in a perpetual state of planning just because there are so many unknowns. Freedom begins when you step out of your comfort zone and start pursuing your dreams.
Be creative, make things happen. Network. Be resourceful. The nice thing about having a medical perspective that could be helpful for the business world, is that life can be very short. We often see people whose lives ended abruptly. I’ve seen multiple people my age, with the same name, stuck in bed connected to a ventilator, just fighting to stay alive.
Freedom in Taking Responsibility
If you want to have more freedom then only you can make it happen. Take responsibility for your environment, surroundings, and circumstances. Take the steps and sacrifices you need to so you can look back on your life and say you don’t have regrets.
This type of mindset is really what it takes to take your dreams and start taking steps towards making them a reality.
Prioritize Your Dreams
Allow yourself to not be perfect. It is okay to not have everything figured out. Connect with people that can help become mentors. Step out of your comfort zone. There are a number of projects that I am working on, including this website to put this into practice in my own life. I look forward to sharing it with this community.
Till then, be encouraged. Prioritize your dreams and adopt a mindset of resourcefulness to make it happen.
